Re: New member from Seattle
Welcome to the board! 4AG swap has been done before. Obviously it requires some fabbing, but it's completely do-able. The rear end is already the same 6.7" that comes in Zenki GTS's. However the axles are shorter in our cars, so you can't just convert to Kouki, if that's what you plan to do. Yo...

Re: New member with project MAYBE
Not all sons crash their cars, my Crown Vic was my first car passed on by my Father (and no it wasn't stock when he gave it to me). It's been 9 years now. If you are building this for your son, and you are indeed building something modified....don't forget to train your son as well. I can attribute ...

Re: ford 4.6 vs 5.0
Actually, the 94-95 Mustang and 91-93 Cougar and 91-93 Thunderbird all ran the same engine setup (which is the one I have in my Vic). And he is correct that it is the most compact belt setup of all of them.....except! Maybe the V8 Explorer, which might actually be even tighter, and as an addes bonus...

Re: ford 4.6 vs 5.0
Run AWAY!!! The 90 and some 91 4.6L engines are bastard motors, they are not completely MOD motors as they carry over some mounting traits from the 5.0L. The later year MOD motors are good, but are WAY more expensive to modify compared to the 5.0L, and the 5.0L is way liter, and way smaller physical...

It was 76 they went flat nose. The 75 is still a slant nose, but has a different front valance, in the US it has the full idiot proof bumpers, and it has an awesome one year hood.

Welcome to the forum! A mild port, maybe a mild cam, maybe an intake and carb upgrade. These are probably the best methods to getting a little more street spunk. There is a good bit of info on here about 20/22R engines, I'm running one in my Celica.

Yep, us US guys get the 18RC in all our 71-74 Celicas.
The 280Z looks awesome! Definitely would like to see that in action some time.

Re: Howdy, Raffaelli here...
Great find! And welcome to 1GC! As for the wheels, do you have a closer picture of them. I have seen a beat up AE86 rocking a set of those. I'm thinking it may be either bad info, or just a badge that was stuck on them, because that center cap design is pretty much exclusively an OEM Toyota thing. A...
