new member from Atl!

Post by Koryu »

Hi, Im from Atl and I have been trying to get on here for 6 months! Lol. Any way I bought a bone stock 1977 Ra29 tiger gt, and I have been modding it since. Waiting on my stance coilovers, ordered them in Oct! Was just told they should ship this week. Also I have a TRD style front spoiler on its way from groupb. Next are 20/22r parts, flares and staggered Atara racing wheels.

As soon as my coilovers get her, i will drop it and install the front fc rx7 brake kit for an ae86. I plan on runing flares and the Atara racing staggered setup. The i want to build just a healthy 20r/22r hybrid. Some pics of my progress.

What's the story behind the "Tiger" decal? Is it simply because the car is orange?

What width and offset are those wheels? What size tires are you using, and is there any problem with scrubbing on the front?

The "Tiger" was put on by the dealer. It was a dealer appearance package put on at the port on the east coast only in 1977. Not alot of info exists, but if you google it, you will see. They did corollas to from what I hear. Im running 15x8 and 15x9 0 offset with no scrubbing. Coilovers will be here next week, so when I lower it, we will see. But looks like it will clear.

Oh Cool. I can see why you want to lower it at the moment. It's a bit of a "scared cat" right now!

Lol, yea. Im also in the middle of a 20r build with mikuni 44's. Played with webers for 12 years, always heard the mikunis have a vetter progression circuit, so trying that route. I also like the air horns better lol
