Hi from Western North Carolina

Post by TigerLily77 »

Hello There, My name is Denver and I live near Asheville North Carolina. I have a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT (the daily driver) and a 1977 Celica GT Tiger Edition (the project car).

The Celica is my first project car and i'm having a blast working on it :)

Anyone else close to WNC?

Nice to see another eastern US member! I'm over in eastern Virginia, VA Beach. The fella I bought my Celica from lives in central NC. What are the plans for the tiger?

Hi, I'm new here too, in Hickory, NC, just on the edge of "western" NC. No Celica yet, but in the process of selling off my current fun car a 95 240sx, then I'm going with either a vintage Toyota (1st Gen Celica, a Celica Supra, or an AE86) or a vintage Nissan (240z or 280z).

My current daily driver is an 04 350Z, which explains the interest in a 240z. Ages ago I had an 87 SR5 Corolla, which was loads of fun, and cheap!, so i'd love to get back into the Toyota scene.

-Tiger very cool Celica, I love the vintage patina, what are your plans for it?

-Blaze, thats a heck of a car! Great video of you having fun with it!

Gonna try to restore her back to her, paint will go back to black and decals redone. May upgrade the motor at some point but it isn't not top priority right now. Just taking this one step at a time
