Excellent forum layout. I've recently got an interest in these little Toyotas and hope to own one some day soon. Untill that day I'm going to browse the site and drool over some of the pictures on here.

Good stuff!!! I think your brother in law use to work at Florin Rd Toyota. I've seen that car but never under the hood. I think they swapped a 20 or 22r back in due to smog reasons. It's not that I beat you to it.... If you can build yours and learn off my mistakes and flaws, I'd feel like I've accomplished a whole. Be safe and enjoy the 1stGenCelica.com!

Don't forget guys that a contribution to this Site helps..

I haven't been here for ages but the 1st thing I did when coming back was make a Pay Pal donation.

Even if 1/2 of the members say kicked in $5, I'm sure that would be appreciated :2cents:

G'day from Australia, I too have the Celica Bug, after buying my first at 20, I now have several, all in different stages of builds, all are Ta22's, from 72 to 74's.
Cheers, Allfiredup

Hello Everyone.
Just picked up my 1977 lift back this Sunday. Ive been wanting this car for years!! My dad had one, but sold it before i was old enough to drive. its in pretty good shape, and drives well. got it from original owner. hoping to build it for some road racing in the future.

Hello! I joined a while ago, lots of good info here! I bought my Celica in 2004 as a project car, but the project has been standing still since 2006. It needs a lot of work, hopefully next month I will move it to my new working place and start working on it again. Will put up a project topic.
Greetings from the Netherlands!
