Re: Hopefully a soon to be new owner of a Gen 1 Celica

Looks like sandwichman is selling his [edit - Car I saw for sale is not his] . I think you would be better off with that one. Oops, not Sandwichman, but one...

Re: Hopefully a soon to be new owner of a Gen 1 Celica

Is the flat black paint covering up shoddy body work? Those missing vents can be difficult to find since they become so brittle. The 4 speed in the red one can easily be replaced with a 5 speed from numerous sources, not too hard to find a cheap tranny to stick in there. Yeah probably shotty bodywo...

Re: hello from wisconsin

They are actually from 90-96 300zx z32 chassis, the NA 26mm not the TT 30mm. After I posted, i looked around and learned about the z32 conversion. I saw a lot of questions about the fc conversion, most people said it makes more sense for the z32 conversion. The na over the tt is probably why i was ...

Re: Hopefully a soon to be new owner of a Gen 1 Celica

That one looks like it's in fantastic shape. The liftback in your earlier post, I could see being in the 3500-4000 range. For the non running one, 1500 max, but location determines prices The white one is in vegas somewhere.. I can buy a trailer and tow hitch and bring it home. Im sure if i offered...

Re: Hopefully a soon to be new owner of a Gen 1 Celica

I'm not sure how the vinyl roof's trim is held in place, I don't think it was like that from factory? The Liftback looks very nice. Without a baseline price to negotiate from, who knows what he considers low ball Thats the first time i have seen it and to me its gross... I hate being away trying to...
