When I measured it looked like it was going to be a VERY tight fit. OH well, scrap that idea. I guess it's going in my truck. :woot: you can easily get it to fit with an aftermarket top mount turbo manifold. thats what i did. i also had to remove the brake booster and switch to an ae86 brake master...

I have a complete 22rte/r150 ready to go in once the 20r kicks the bucket. wink Although I'm debating leaving this thing an NA and making a 20r/22r hybrid. The celica's been on the back burner behind other projects, but I'm ready to get serious about 'er now. :shades: go 22rte! we'll be blood broth...

hmm a celica stuck in an identity crisis... no advice to give you about switching VINS, but i can tell you that it definitely is a 76-77. the elongated front end, mirrors, and flat corner lights, and 20r motor are a dead give away. but if he told you that he had swapped the 18rc out for the 20r, the...
