TA28s with 2TBs were very common in Europe. I've got one myself.

I'm quite surprised how many young people like these cars. Would have thought it would only appeal to us old farts, who actually lived the era :screwy:

Re: How much should i offer?

Welcome to the board.
Price depends on condition, condition, condition....
This one looks completely stock and first paint. If there's no real rust issues and it runs good, your 1000 will be pretty low. Prepare to spend a few grand.
Go for it and see what happens. GL! :2thumbs:

Re: Hello from UK

Do Toyota still stock parts for these, and is there a good site you know of to obtain bits and pieces from? Welcome Mike, The answer is mostly- no-, although you may be able to get some consumables like brake pads, seals, clutches etc., even exhausts. Definitely no body parts. For aftermarket parts...

Re: New Guy Here

Welcome, Jamal. No opinion from me, you decide. 1stgens are not that rare that it is a real shame to convert. A guy called Sheepers in Ozzie did it and I must say it is amazing to hear a V8 rumble from a Celica. :eek2: Not sure it's road legal in the UK, though. It will probably fail your MOT.
