Post by peatear01 »

hey guys i'm finally getting out of the honda scene and decided to start something classic. i recently just picked up a clean/ running 74" celica (not sure if its st or gt :( ) anyway its always nice seeing such nice looking rare cars around so i thought i'd join the forum in hopes to get a few ideas and resources for my entirely missing interior :( and a good swap :) hope to have a good winter year with my celica! :)Image

DANNNGGG HAHA thats cool man haha yeah, the manufacture dates on the car says 74 but the title says 75 haha but i'll believe you since you owned her before i did lol mannn, why'd you let this go? its cleannnn :) was it just a basic tune up im assuming?

ps i was reading your build thread, sexy @$$ ride.. my intentions were to do the same swap but i'm just a kid and can't afford it yet so i'm looking for a 2rz now what do you think? :)

didnt really own it, but i had it for like a couple weeks! haha.. yea tuned the carb and a little here and there (dont remember exactly what we did but yea), but yea BODY IS CLEAN AND STRAIGHT!! so you dont have to worry about that. you car almost got my orange hood.. haha.. because i wanted that 75 hood for my car... haha...

thanks for the comment on my car. its ehhh ok. haha.

2rz is a nice motor!! highly recommend that motor. plus they are easy to find, and cheaper than an f20 swap.. haha..

good luck with your build man!!
