The name is Anthony, home town is Las Cruces New Mexico but currently station in Minot north Dakota , I just bought a 1977 Celica coupe ST RA24 and its my first one. I got her two days ago and she is awesome looks great inside and out just has a few dings here and there. I will have to add photos when I get a chance been working a lot don't really have time. I have big plans for her like a 3SGE beams engine swap that a have already bought just waiting for it to get delivered. not really into the stock yellow color she came in so for sure she will get new paint I'm thinking a dark burgondy would look awesome. I sourced a rear smiley metal bumper but still trying to find the front one. I have many more thing in mind I want to do but it would take too long to list, but I'm really excited to start working on her I hope everything turns out the way I want and I'll keep updating as I go. Thanks for reading and if you all have any advice or input on anything especially the swap please let me know would really appreciate. :2thumbs:

Congrats and welcome! :)

Beware, the front chrome smiley bumper on 76/77 is a different shape than those made for 71/74. They were not sold on US model cars...

Thanks for the advice on the front bumper if I can't find anything I'm just going to have to go with a fiber glass or carbon fiber one

Yeah I did buy it, thanks again for that and I ended up paying bout hundred bucks more than asking price so it wasn't too bad I think don't really know what they usually go for?

Those are crazy rare! I stumbled across that site awhile ago and check from time to time. Maybe I should have kept my mouth shut :banghead: I have fiberglass for mine and the originals in the garage.
I like the glass cause they are light(shaves 100lbs gvw) but of course you have to be really careful to avoid damaging them.
You'll realize as time goes on that you really did find a needle in the haystack
Glad it worked out for you

Show us the pics when you get them on
