Hello,
I am a new member living in Kingston, TN, USA. I have a 1975 Celica ST. It has a 22r engine with a four speed. It is pretty solid and I drive it almost daily. I say almost because I am still working out bugs. I am trying to install a tach from a 74 GT. I also have an aluminum case 5 speed I would like to put in and I would like to get the seat belts locks to release. Any help in these areas would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome, everyone will want to see pix. When I got my 75 the previous owner had been manually releasing the latch when she drove the car, I had a spare seatbelt control module and after I installed it the worked perfect. I guess if both front belts act the same that might be it, or maybe just a loose wire. I installed 76-77 belts in my 74 GT because they are self contained, no wires or control module. Chuck
