73 With Ford 302

Post by BDC1013 »

I just purchased this 73 Celica. I've built many domestic vehicles but i couldnt pass this one up. paid $100

I was wondering, This was an original ST automatic model. So what is the chassis code? TA22?

Car has ford 302 C4 trans and 9 inch rear

Car was sitting for 6 years, put a battery in it and it fired right up. I need to get the old fuel out of the tank and put some new plugs and fuel and it should run a lot better.

Plans for the car are:
T5 manual transmission
lower vehicle
Spool or weld diff

and then rip on this thing!

If you are in the states, it's ra21 most likely. Look at the tag on the dash or engine compartment. Yes, it is ra21, you can see it in your photo! $100 ? You stole it! Chuck

Yeah, I should have bought the pedals on eBay I found last week. I'm hoping to find some parts from people on this forum.
