Halo-Halo from DC, NorCal

Post by 77gt »

Just like to say Hi to all the Celica Lovers & "new" homies out here. Thanks Andy for introducing me to this site back at the 2008 Motoring J style event! Since I was a little Navy Brat back in Guam in the 70's, I had a love for these lil cars. when my Dad had a 76' ST/GT(can't remember) Coup and in Hawaii where he'd always worked on the 77 GT LB (beating all the soup'd up cars on the roads back in the 80's  ...I was hooked on these BAD BOYS!! Too bad we had to sell the cars when he got his next duty station orders in Cali...we couldn't ship and/or bring the cars here in SF. Hopefully, someday I can return the favor to my Dad...and give him a restored piece of our Toyota history. I'll try to keep the legacy alive, when one day...my son will have his own OG TOY to play with. TOYOTAS...Oh what a feeling!!!
