Welcome aboard!

Can't wait to see the pics.

If you have the pics on another site like Flicker, then you just pull them up and copy the link.

You then press the {Img} button above and paste the link there in between this: "" without the quotes of course.

I'm back! I got my baby towed to my work.
Any chance I get, I work on her.
I don't know how the previous owner even got 50miles out of her.
The starter relay wires, were mixed up and one wire had a 20 fuse attached, that keeped on blowing.
Started her up,and she was misfireing and knocking, and I had the compression checked and all pistons are good!
I replaced the spark plugs, and now she runs better, but still knocking,so I got the valves adjusted, and replaced the valve cover gasket.
The gauges stop working took the dash apart. I turned the boost down, because I thought she was boosting 20psi,but the boost gauge was broken, but now it's fixed.
Then I put BG in the new oil,and BG in the gas tank to clean the injectors.
I made a bad mistake, I let the celica idle to clean the engine, and fuel system, and got caught up helping clients.
My baby overheated, and now she sounds even worse.
Tomorrow I'm off,so I will have more time to fix her up! :ohyeah:

 My 22RTE needs new bearings per.my buddy Vu. I will swap a 2jz-gte in my ra21. Do I have to customize the motor cross member, and the transmission mounts. I have found lots of 2jz-gte on the internet and they all seem to have auto transmission and ecu with un cut wires. If I buy it,can I use a 5speed w58 ,or the 6speed that is in the newer 2jz-gte with out buying a manuel ecu?
I will also put the hilux rear end,but I don't want to just cut and weild the ra21 brackets. I need to customized the rear end better, because I'm expecting to pop wheelies!

Thanks for your time and help.

Welcome to the forum.

Why not fix the 22R? And now you can get good internals so that you can safely boost 15psi+ if you want. You will need to change out the rear end either way soon. And you won't be poppin' wheelies until you tub out the rear and put a ford 9" setup back there.

Thank you for your support. I changed my mind, because I not going to drag all the time. I'm going to rebuild my 22rte.
I'm working on the body now and after I add a roll cage. I want to swap the rearend with 1978 hilux. Is the ford rear end better some how? Then I will rebuild the engine.
