My name is Jorden, I purchased an ra21 74 Celica GT about a month ago. I'll be at the treasure island meet on june 18th, hope to see many of you there!

As for my celica...its original color was green and is now black...its got a custom wooden dash and a molded spoiler, might you know anything about it?

the only guy i knew that did that was some guy in Berkely and he had a couple old school Toyota cars where he fabbed up some wooden pieces to repair door panels and dashes.

our Toyota community is a very small one out in the Bay Area. almost everybody knows one another and knows of the cars even more!

yea, its got custom wooden door handle,a sunroof, and a really clean interior.

The person i bought it from said the previous owner had it sitting around in his garage for 15 years and it was received as a gift/payment for something, but i'm not sure exactly where it came from originally.

my girlfriend got mad cuz she was talking to me, and then i was like, "oh crap! 74 celica!!!"

then i txted Ray right away to ask if he knew you..
hahah nice turn of events...

we're right next to each other, we gotta meet up man..

o man, thats awesome. We should definitely meet up, zulu offered to show me his pre 22re celica as well so lets do it!

yea, the reactions to the wooden dash are varied and sometimes hilarious...i love the rear view mirror too, i took off my side mirrors because they were wobbly and i don't miss them at all due to the awesome amount of rear window visibility.


i've got an extra 5 panel mirror if anyone wants it, it's missing mounting brackets though...free local pickup.

you might want to put on at least the driver door side mirror.

i think you might get a ticket...

and yeah... i've seen this Celica before!

yea, i was planning on putting new side mirrors on right away, but they didn't come with mounting brackets so i have to fab some or return them...good old open box purchase :-/
