My name is Josh and i just wanted to introduce myself. I recently went to a gathering at Cary's Shop witha a friend that just got a 71 Celica from another member of this board. Even though I do not have a first gen celica I have previously found usefull information on the 8r/18rc by searching this forum so I check it out when I am trying to figure something out.
Here is my car. I have converted it from the A30 automatic to a w50 from a Toyota Pickup. I also swapped out the 8rc for the 18rc. It has some 15" Centerlines (8" with 0 offset in the front, 9" in the rear with -23?? offset) I am working out the suspension currently but may be selling it soon to start the search for a 73ish Mark II wagon.
