F22c 77' Celica

Post by bluethunder505 »

Hello all! Many of you know the car (Ryan's old one) I purchased the vehicle from him back in Feb. 2 days after purchasing it we had a snow storm and someone hit me, so it is undergoing a few changes like paint and shortly it will be turbo'd rather than the current Jenvey ITB set up.

It is currently painted red, however, due to the accident it needs a new paint job and since the paint is a little old and faded I decided to go with a new color. Dupont Fleet 44490 (Which is the exact color off Eleanor in Gone in 60 seconds. http://media.techeblog.com/images/1967m ... leanor.jpg

I am still piecing together the turbo kit but I am only shooting for 350whp so it will be a very mild kit.

Comments, Concerns, Suggestions all welcome! I look forward to talking with you guys!

I am selling them to make way (and funds) for my turbo set up. I need to get with Ryan and find out a little more about the LSD and Rear end on this car first before I 100% commit to turboing it. I just want to make sure it can handle the additional power (and most important Torque)

I will definitely post a link to the build thread soon. I have decided to stay N/A for this season because based on what I can tell I will need a new rear end, new clutch plus the turbo kit so I need to do a little saving. Plus I need to learn to handle this beast as is before adding more power. I am still deciding on color though its a hard decision lol The shop is having trouble matching paint due to its age so they suggested just doing the whole thing. I'm thinking White, Eleanor Gray, Java Black Pearl or Krypton Green. I am just deciding on how much attention I want in it lol
