Ya so i've got a 1974 GT RA21 affectionatly known as "Alphonse", I restored it to stock condition. Funny thing about owning one is I've only ever seen one other 1st gen, so it'd be cool to see another one at a car show around here, maybe some of you saw me this spring up in Wetaskiwin at history road and would be so kind as to verify my existance?
Thanks

Re: New in Calgary
Welcome
Always nice to see more in Canada. Looks really nice, love the color too, that dark green in one color that suits having a tan interior for sure.

Nice car. I'd love to see it sometime.
I just sold my 77 to a fellow forum member, apparently. =(

Azrael, did I sell that set of supra rims to you or are did we meet at the al azhar Shriners show?
Re: New in Calgary
Well I never really gave a full history of the car and I guess I might as well go ahead with it now, but it was originally my dads 2nd car, and I'm really happy he decided to keep it around, so in 1995 it wasn't in the best shape, but it went into storage in my grandmothers driveway, until 12 years later when we hauled it back out and started the resto, lots of rocker panel rust, those were cut out and new ones welded in, new steel replacement genuine Toyota fenders and so on, the pics say it all:
The extent of the rust
New rockers welded in + Much body work
Primer
And the above pic shows the finished product, sorry bout the lousy pics though.

Re: New in Calgary
Wow, all the hard work paid off, the car looks great! Nice to keep the car in the family too. I lived in Calgary around 2005, wish I had've seen it in person.
