New member and new "Toy"

Post by billyjarrell »

Hello everyone. I've been a datsun guy for quite some time and I am just now getting to know my old Toyota. I just brought home this 1972 Celica ST 4-Speed. The car is pretty solid and rust free although there are quite a few dents and dings, but it does run pretty good, and I think it looks great with the wheels from my Z 8) . Anyway just saying "Hi" and looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Yep, us US guys get the 18RC in all our 71-74 Celicas.

The 280Z looks awesome! Definitely would like to see that in action some time.

Yeah I don't know about all of them, but mine has the 18RC engine.. @ Blaze86Vic: Thanks for the comment on the Z. Come on out Aug. 21st and 22nd to ACU-4 in Norfolk for the Virginia Autocross Championships. I'll be running both days in the Z and you can meet the rest of the crew. If you don't want to compete its free to just hang out. Follow the link under "upcoming events" on the gripsyndicate.com page or check us out on facebook. Thanks again.

Welcome

Great looking Z-car and good looking 72 Celi, now you just need to get busy and make the Celi look as good as the Z.
