New guy from AZ with a Liftback GT

Post by ImpulsiveRA »

Hey Guys, New to the forum and I just recently purchased myself a 76 Liftback! I'm here to soak up some knowledge and get this thing back on the road!

Here's the GT:

P.S. The car has been sitting for 20+ years.

very nice celica
love the color and rims
not so into the fluffy dach and doors even if they are realy 70s
you only need some smily bupers and it's perfect

Nice car ! Is that an aftermarket taillight ? The wheels are interesting, must be a shield behind them . Chuck

Thank you! I agree with you 100% on the smily bumpers! Not to sure what I'm going to do with the interior but it makes for an interesting topic with any age group!

Thanks! Tail lights are off a 69 Camaro an the guy did a really good job mounting them in there. Can't find to much info on the wheels all I know is they are 14x6 American racing wheels brand. An yes there is a shield mounted behind them.

I remember seeing that car for sale. I was half tempted to drive to AZ to get it, but the taillights was a deal breaker. Nice find.

I like them as well. Kinda wish they were wide or more aggressive offset.

I almost bought this car myself, but being a '76, it didn't quite fit the rest collection (3x '77 LB).

Been watching this show up and drop from the classifieds for a couple years now..
I'm glad it finally found a proud owner. :2thumbs:
Thought about grabbing it myself there for a minute but not a huge liftback fan.

You are correct! They are celica/supra seats. I have a receipt for the 80's when the old owner purchased them along with 5 point Speedway harnesses!
