Hello from Texas

Post by i5sfe »

Hey everyone, wanted to introduce myself. I am new to the site but not new to Toyotas, it started with my first car a 77 Celica (RA29). Since then I have had quite a few cars. Currently I still have the 77 it has been a decade long project that moves slowly as I get time and money, my daily driver is a 92 drop top Celica and I have a 84 Hilux that I do some rockcrawling with a local group (dfw-tx4wd.org). I also have a 2000 F250 and a 87 Chevy R10 that I am looking to sell. I had an 88 alltrac but had to sell because of the lack of time and money.

So a little about my project. My intention is to make a driving machine for on road and local tracks, most all work I do myself with a few exceptions like engine boring and paint spraying solely because I lack the machinery for this. I built the block with custom Ross pistons, Eagle H-Beam rods, ported and polished head, oversized valves and a mild cam. The serious muscle is coming from a T3/T4 hybrid Garret turbo. Engine management will be a megasquirt kit (yes I plan to build this as well). Currently I am working on wiring lights in the front (I am not using the stock harness, instead I am rewiring the car). There is a bit more to tell but I'll just post a few pics for now.
